Assistant Production Team Leader

Your contributions

Together with the team leader and the rest of your team, you ensure that (mainly) truck tyres are recycled into rubber granulate. You are responsible for the right quantity and quality of rubber granulate.

When the team leader is absent, you are responsible for:

  • Managing a team of 6 production workers;
  • Ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly;
  • You will supervise production workers in learning the work on-the-job and ensure that they work according to the correct guidelines and regulations;
  • You will have work meetings with production staff several times a day;
  • You will liaise with the technical department where necessary and assist with breakdowns;
  • You check the production machines, building and grounds for abnormalities, you fix unsafe situations.

If your team leader is present himself, you work in production and set a good example to the production employees. Naturally, you will then also be the team leader's first point of contact and support him where necessary.

Work is in 3 shifts, morning shift: 06:00-14:00, afternoon shift from 14:00-22:00 and night shift from 22:00-06:00.

Your profile

We are looking for an adequate and accurate person who is responsible and further possesses:

  • Experience of leading or managing people;
  • Work experience in manufacturing in an industrial environment;
  • In possession of a valid forklift certificate;
  • Available to work 3-shifts;
  • BHV or first aid training are a plus.

You are working within a transport organisation with various locations. For this logistics location in Weert, we are looking for a Team Leader Logistics / Location Coordinator who can manage the location from A to Z and make adjustments where necessary. Together with the logistics team (consisting of 1 order processor in the office and 3 to 4 all-round logistics employees on the floor), you will ensure quality and compliance with procedures.   • Logistics working and thinking level MBO level 3/4; 
  • Relevant work experience in a logistics function;
