Your contributions

In this position, you will work on building and preparing new earthmoving machines according to customer-specific requirements. No two days are the same: you combine engineering, customisation and cooperation in the workshop. Your duties include:

Building customer-specific options, you will independently install hydraulic, electrical and structural modifications to new machines. Consider lighting, overpressure cabins, booms and other customised solutions;
Loading, unloading and intake, you will support the processing of incoming and outgoing machines and ensure that this process runs smoothly and orderly;
Working neatly & safely, you will adhere to applicable quality, safety and environmental standards and ensure a tidy workplace;
Thinking along & improving, you identify opportunities to tackle processes smarter and actively contribute to improvements within the workshop.

Your profile

You are a technical talent who likes to roll up your sleeves and get energy from tinkering with machines. With your practical attitude and eye for quality, you make sure the work is done properly and carefully. You will also bring the following:

A completed technical MBO education, preferably in mechanical engineering, agricultural engineering or as a mobile equipment mechanic;
Available for 32 to 40 hours a week;
Preferably several years of work experience, but starters are also welcome;
You work independently, are eager to learn and think creatively about solutions;
You are accurate, flexible, stress-resistant and like to go the extra mile;
A good command of the Dutch language.

In this position, you will be the assembler who assembles machines step by step into a perfect working unit. You will combine technique, precision and initiative in a varied role. Your duties include:

Mechanical assembly, you will assemble tracked undercarriages based on drawings and parts lists, with a focus on assembling undercarriage components;
Assembling together, you will work on complete assemblies, think about an efficient assembly sequence and support colleagues where necessary;
Electrical and hydraulic pre-assembly, you will connect components according to drawings and diagrams, paying attention to correct assembly according to given specifications;
Checking & finishing, you check your own work and ensure that the machine is delivered neatly and completely;
Cartwright, you pick up tasks independently, keep an overview and have a hands-on mentality.
