Your contributions
In this position, you will be active on the shop floor every day and, together with your colleagues, ensure a smoothly running logistics process. You will combine cooperating with managing, constantly keeping an overview. Your duties consist of:
- You will work closely with your team and other team leaders on the shop floor;
- You will manage a team of order pickers and packers on a daily basis;
- With a real hands-on mentality, you will collaborate and actively drive the picking and packing process;
- You monitor the progress of the daily operational processes and set the right priorities in them;
- You coordinate with fellow team leaders to jointly achieve and ensure KPIs;
- You coach, motivate and supervise your team in their daily work;
- You ensure optimal staffing, productivity and commitment within the team;
- You will instruct, inform and support employees so that work is carried out safely, efficiently and according to applicable guidelines.
Your profile
For this position, we are looking for an executive who stands firmly in his or her shoes and knows how to keep an overview in a dynamic working environment. In addition:
- Do you possess MBO level 4 working and thinking level;
- Have at least 2 years' experience in a managerial role, preferably within logistics;
- Have a good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing;
- Knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus;
- Are you communicatively strong and possess demonstrable leadership qualities;
- Work accurately and ensure proper follow-up of appointments;
- Have strong problem-solving skills and always maintain an overview;
- Are you available full-time and willing to work alternating shifts between 07:00 and 23:30;
- Are you alternately employable on weekends, for which a supplement applies.
