Your contributions

As an industrial packer, you are on the road a lot and work in a varied, dynamic environment. Every job is different: one moment you are wrapping a heavy machine with wood and foil, and the next day you are lashing or packing at another location. You ensure that valuable goods can travel the world safely and professionally. You will also have the opportunity to occasionally work on international projects.
What can you expect?

  • Working daily at varying client locations;
  • Enclosing, sealing, shrinking and securing machines or materials;
  • Working with different packaging materials and techniques;
  • Lots of independence, collaboration and customer contact. 

You are the company's calling card and enjoy working in small teams on a wide variety of projects. You will package machines and other materials and that is where you get your energy from! You will report to the field sales team leader and are part of a skilled team that stands for quality, safety and customisation.

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for a technically handy person who likes to get to work and enjoys working with their hands in varying locations (mainly the Netherlands and border region of Belgium).
Do you enjoy working with wood and love the smell of freshly cut wood? Then you are the perfect candidate!

You recognise yourself in the following profile:

  • You have technical insight and are handy with tools and materials or experience with (sawing) machines;
  • You work accurately and always deliver customised work, even under pressure;
  • You are a real team player and can also work well independently;
  • Experience in timber, manufacturing or construction is a plus;
  • You preferably live in the Weert region; 
  • You are available for full-time (40 hours), possibly 4 days a week is also negotiable;
  • You speak the Dutch language or at least fluent English;

For this vacancy, you will depart from Weert daily, but you will be flexible in starting times (depending on travel times to the project).

Our client is based in Weert and is therefore easily accessible from Roermond, Echt, Nederweert and Baexem.
