Your contributions
The position is for 32-40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling. It includes a broad range of duties which we break down here into the following tasks:
1. Accounting and financial records:
- Processing financial transactions and maintaining general ledger records;
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual closures;
- Support the preparation of financial reports and analyses.
2. Invoicing and debtor/creditor management:
- Manage the invoicing process and follow up on outstanding payments;
- Process invoices and follow up payment process;
- Communicate with customers and suppliers on financial issues and payment arrangements;
- Processing and monitoring payment transactions.
3. Monitoring and reconciliation:
- Perform internal audits and financial data reconciliations;
- Ensure correct and timely recording of financial transactions;
- Support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations;
4. Supporting financial processes:
- Optimise financial processes and systems to improve efficiency;
- Assist in the implementation of new financial systems and tools;
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal procedures.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with education and experience in Finance. MBO level 4 in Finance & Accounting is sufficient. In terms of experience, we are looking for someone with at least 5 years' experience in a similar position. Furthermore, you possess the following skills:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills;
- Good knowledge of financial software and accounting systems, preferably Exact Globe;
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;
- Accurate and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently and prioritise in a dynamic environment;
- Proactive and eager to learn;
- Team player with a positive and flexible attitude;
- Stress-resistant and able to work under time pressure;
- High level of integrity and sense of responsibility.
