Your contributions

As Business Developer, you have a versatile and varied challenge. On the one hand, you take care of proactively recruiting new relations, while on the other hand you contribute to the monitoring of existing relations. From your permanent workplace, you carry out your work within the Sales department. You show and radiate what Business Development really means. You understand better than anyone that you play an important part in generating new sales opportunities. Your focus here is both national and international (with an emphasis within the EU). The mix of frequent contact with both known and completely unknown relations ensures an even balance in warm and cold acquisition. You process everything you do in a disciplined and structured manner in our ERP system. And furthermore, the following tasks fall within your remit:

• Conduct market research independently;
• Execute structurally recurring campaigns targeting existing relationships;
• Process, manage and secure lead actions in our ERP system;
• Process, manage and secure exhibition leads in our ERP system;
• Support in quotation follow-up;
• Proactively respond to references you pick up in your day-to-day contacts.

Your profile

• In possession of at least MBO working and thinking level;
• You are available full-time;
• You have experience with and a passion for business development;
• Good oral and written expression skills in Dutch, German and English;
• In addition, you are technical, customer-oriented, communicatively strong and driven;
• You don't have a 9-17 mentality.
