Your reward

Your contributions
You’re someone who thrives on customer contact, thinking on your feet and creating commercial opportunities. As a sales assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers and will ensure that enquiries are smoothly translated into suitable solutions. You combine your commercial acumen with an interest in technical products, enabling you to genuinely help customers move forward.
No two days are the same: you liaise with clients, draw up quotations, follow up on leads and help devise the best solution for every situation. You maintain an overview, take ownership of the sales process and ensure that opportunities are turned into tangible results.
What will you do?
- Preparing and following up on quotations – You draw up clear proposals, monitor progress and stay in control of the process;
- Handling customer enquiries – You’ll be in daily contact with customers by telephone and email, ensuring a prompt and professional response;
- Helping to find solutions – You advise customers on standard and configurable track systems and translate their requirements into the right solution;
- Following up on leads and capitalising on opportunities – You identify commercial opportunities and turn them into successful deals;
- Supporting account managers – You ensure that the sales process runs smoothly and help colleagues to be fully prepared before they head out;
- Identifying commercial opportunities – You see opportunities to expand and deepen customer relationships;
- Working with technical colleagues – You liaise with sales support and the technical department to provide customers with the best solution.
In short: you are the link between the customer, the technical side and sales. With your commercial drive, you ensure that enquiries develop into strong customer relationships and excellent results.
Your profile
If you’re keen on technology, have a can-do attitude and enjoy a friendly, supportive working environment, you’ll feel right at home with us. Furthermore:
- MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking, with 2 to 5 years’ experience in a commercial back-office role (B2B);
- You have a commercial mindset and see opportunities;
- You think on your feet and keep a clear overview in busy situations;
- You are customer-focused and results-oriented;
- Ideally, you should be available to work full-time (40 hours a week);
- A good command of Dutch and English; German would be an advantage.
