Your contributions

As a Tactical Purchaser, you will contribute to the implementation of the purchasing strategy and the procurement of products, raw materials and services at optimal conditions by:

• Supervising and executing the quotation and procurement process of goods and services for specific (client) projects;
• Preparing and managing tenders;
• Select and direct suppliers to acquire desired goods and services;
• Monitor supplier performance against agreed terms and service levels.

Your profile

For this position, we are looking for someone with up-to-date knowledge of the wood, cardboard and foils market. And further:

• HBO working and thinking level;
• Minimum 5 years' procurement experience in the packaging industry;
• Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
• Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices in procurement and supply chain management;
• Experience with automation processes in a trading and warehouse environment.
